I meant it

"I meant it when I said, I want to get well." Ariel Bloomer, Icon for Hire.

How many of you out there get fed up with people who give themselves pity parties after awhile?

You know the type. This person is in constantly compares their emotional battle scars with everyone.

These people suck the life out of you without even trying, but only if you let them. Furthermore, sometimes these people even demand you bring a dirty laundry list to the table, and if you are unwilling to play that game then you aren't worthy to associate with them.

Well ladies and gents, I have officially had enough of that shit. If this is the way you  choose to live your life, understand that I will not be trading horror stories and battle wounds with you. If this is one of your pastimes then you should realize how much more you should be getting out of life.

Let me sum up everything that I am trying to say to you all two easy to understand sentences:

I meant it when I said, I want to get well. Are the rest of you so content, stay when you are but it hurts like hell.

If you are one of the people waiting alone back there 'back there, I have one more thing to say to you.

I'm extending you an invitation to those of you left behind. You can chose to accept this invitation, or to ignore it. Ultimately, the choice is up to you.

Come on, dry your eyes, meet me on the other side
Run as fast as you can and we'll make it out alive
We know better now, we don't have to live like this
Go tell them all we don't have to live like this

Look at today as a new day, and a fresh start. Every day brings new hope, and something to be grateful for. Life really is ten percent what happens to you and 90 percent your reaction to it.
